If I could ever be in charge of the cover of AICU Magazine, I wanted to include books as an element in the illustration. The nested structure of a book cover illustration with a book drawn on it is exciting as a book lover. And because it matched the recruitment requirements, I created the concept of "Autumn of Reading" from the theme of "Autumn of Art." I used SeaArt AI for generation. After that, I loaded the generated image and the cover template distributed by AICU into Gemini 2.5 Flash Image, and asked it to regenerate so that the cover title and the person at the top would not overlap. The image with the longer background at the top than the original image was then loaded into PixAI to upscale and improve the image quality. The reason I used PixAI instead of SeaArt AI for upscaling is that SeaArt AI can always upscale the generated image as it is, but if you try to load and upscale a downloaded image or an external image, unnecessary lines may appear. Because it was in this state this time, I used PixAI. I'm not very good at creating one illustration using multiple tools yet, but I can say that a new challenge was made as a result of this contest.

The girl sitting on the film symbolizes "expectations for the future" and "the reality of this moment." I put the figure of a girl holding small wishes and hopes in her heart, such as wanting to watch a movie and wanting to draw, into one picture. I will make an ethnic spice recipe cake with the original main character AI Mobuko-san from the Kakuyomu series Is the AI Girl Dreaming of a Cyber Saint?! In the play, the AI girl is asked about ethnic sweets, and the Copilot's personality and an ethnic carrot cake recipe are made. I had already created this meta creation personally, so I was able to use the idea as is for the contest. Yato sometimes bakes cakes in real life, so it's an AI co-creation real implementation. The main tool used is Nijijourney, but silver hair, brown skin, and mekakure are not good at Midjourney, so I worked with PixAI to create a base. Yato creates generated AI illustrations for all episodes of this Kakuyomu work. As you can see, it has a unique style that extracts compositions and images properly for the story, and this style is called Shogashi and is being studied. Please let me know if there are any leading examples of commercial-level works that utilize generated AI and dialogue AI of around 100,000 characters using similar methods. If not, Yato is considered to have the most advanced know-how at this time. In addition, no other person's image prompts are used in the generation process. Prompts that image existing IPs are not used. (In my usual practice, I specify several work titles, discuss the direction I want to take, and gradually develop Yato's characteristics and individuality.)
Everyone's work is wonderful! The final judging will be decided by the judges Juni and the editorial department.
