AiCuty Copyright Usage Guidelines

Article 1 (Purpose and Scope of Application) These guidelines provide instructions regarding secondary creation and use of copyrighted works of the project "AiCuty" (hereinafter referred to as "this content") provided by AICU Japan (hereinafter referred to as "the Company"). These guidelines shall be applied in conjunction with the terms of use separately established by the Company, Readme files attached to distributed materials, notes, official forms/announcements, etc. (hereinafter referred to as "Terms, etc.").
Article 2 (Intellectual Property Rights) The copyrights, trademark rights, and other intellectual property rights pertaining to this content belong to the Company or the rights licensor. In principle, use for commercial purposes is prohibited without the Company's permission, but non-profit activities based on these guidelines are exceptionally permitted.
Article 3 (Definition of Non-Profit Use) Non-profit refers to activities within a scope that does not aim for profit. The following are examples that fall under non-profit:
- Advertising revenue on YouTube, etc. (standard settings)
- Revenue from arbitrary donations such as SuperChat
- Distribution of doujinshi and goods at cost (printing and material costs, etc.)
Article 4 (Permitted Activities and Media) The following non-profit activities are permitted without application:
- Illustrations / Manga / ZINE / Doujinshi / BGM / Remixes
- MAD / Video Editing / Novels / 3D Model Production
- Posting on SNS, YouTube, etc., Exhibitions at Exhibitions
Article 5 (Prohibited Matters)
- Excessive sexual expressions including sexual depictions of underage characters
- Notation or logo usage that may be mistaken for official
- Violation of laws, public order and morals, and various platform terms
- Infringement of third party rights
- Copyright registration as one's own work (e.g., ContentID)
Article 6 (Obligation to Display / Recommended Credit)
- "Unofficial fan work" notation is recommended
- "© AICU Japan / AiCuty" credit can also be included
- Consideration should also be given to preventing misidentification when using on SNS icons, etc.
Article 7 (Handling of Logos and Names)
- Modification of the "AiCuty" name/logo is prohibited
- Production of similar logos or misleading guidance is also prohibited
- Exclusive trademark use or SNS account acquisition is prohibited
Article 8 (License Classification)
1. AICU Contest License
- Permitted only to applicants during the period
- Established by submitting the form, and the Company can use it free of charge
- AICU owns the adaptation rights (editing, translation, etc.)
- Obligation to use the specified tag
2. AiCuty Community License (Non-Commercial)
- Limited to individuals/non-profit organizations
- Advertising/gift revenue on your own channel is allowed
- Prohibition of violations of public order and morals and fake news, etc.
- Issued by applying via form including public URL
- Complies with the ethical code "Generated AI Creator Gestures"

3. Commercial License A separate commercial license application is required for the following activities:
- Companies, corporations, schools, classrooms, etc.
- Printed materials, digital signage, TV/distribution broadcasting
- Karaoke, translation publishing, machine learning learning materials
- Membership-only content and charging platforms, etc.

Machine learning applications comply with current Japanese copyright law and precedents, do not require permission based on Article 30-4. Copyrighted materials including other personal information, titles, concepts, explanations, etc. are subject to this license, and commercial use is included in the commercial license. In particular, if explicit permission is granted for re-machine learning, it is indicated with a (CG) mark.

Article 9 (Use of Official Materials) Official materials distributed by the Company may be subject to individual conditions. If conditions exist, those conditions take precedence over these guidelines.
Article 10 (Violation Response)
- If it is determined that there is a violation of the guidelines, the Company may take measures such as deletion, suspension of publication, changes to conditions, and legal measures.
- Please comply promptly if requested.
Article 11 (Exception Consultation)
- Please consult with us in advance if you wish to use the service for educational institutions, administrative agencies, media organizations, collaborations, etc.
Article 12 (Changes and Governing Law)
- These guidelines are subject to change without notice.
- Japanese law shall be the governing law, and the Tokyo District Court shall be the exclusive agreement jurisdictional court.

①[AICU Contest License] Supplementary Explanation
This license is granted only to valid individuals who have applied during the contest period. It is established by submitting the contest form (https://j.aicu.ai/C25 , etc.). The submitted works, the author's own submissions and their derivatives (changes in layout, re-editing, etc.) can be used by AICU free of charge for publication, advertising, and activities for AICU's purposes. AICU owns the adaptation rights such as editing, arrangement, and translation. Be sure to set the required tags listed in the contest when publishing. Unless otherwise specified, please include at least [#AICU].
② "AiCuty Community License"
This license is provided only to individuals and non-profit organizations. Revenue from your channel account (gifts, advertising revenue) is permitted. Illegal and anti-social content and fake news are explicitly prohibited. A prospective user applies with their email address via a form (https://j.aicu.ai/F-aicuty), and it is established by the issuer's email issuing the license number. We may revoke permission. In addition, comply with the latest version of the "Generated AI Creator Gestures" as an ethical guideline set by AICU. The licensed project must include the following in the overview section, end roll, credits, etc. of the video work, etc.
Display Example (A) AICU.jp/aicuty/NN
(A) is an abbreviation for AI-Generated, Authorized for Community. Permission for machine learning purposes is not explicitly included. If machine learning is explicitly included, use the (G) mark.
③ Other Please consider a commercial license Official copyright (draft) in the case of commercial permission for companies, organizations, printed materials that cannot be referenced by URL, karaoke, digital signage, broadcasting, translation, machine learning, membership-only sites, and music classroom practice that are not individuals. A prospective user applies with their email address via a form (.https://j.aicu.ai/F-aicuty), and it is established by the issuer's email issuing the license number.
