If you look at the Japanese version of the official website, the prompt examples are properly localized in Japanese, and the images used are generated with Japanese prompts! How to Use Niji 7

First, let's start with the basics! There are two ways to use Niji 7:

① In Discord Just add --niji 7 to the end of your prompt!

② In the Web Version Select "Niji 7" from the "Version" dropdown!

3 Important Points! Evolution Points of Niji 7

① Significant Improvement in Consistency (Coherency)

This is the biggest evolution point of Niji 7! The official says, "Staring into the eyes of your favorite character," and that's exactly right. You can now draw even the details reflected in the eyes clearly!

② Prompt Following Performance Soars

Niji 7 is evolving in the direction of "outputting exactly what is said." This is very important!

However, be careful because this model tends to "take words as they are!"

In other words, prompts that relied on "atmosphere," which worked well in the past, may not work in Niji 7. But that means that it's now easier to get the results you want!

This is the most artistic evolution in Niji 7! The expressive power of "lines" in anime has been greatly improved.

The left picture has clean lines, but the right picture is a "better picture"
"Good lines" are not just outlines, but convey shape, texture, and light
Lines are a "human concept" that does not exist in nature, so reproduction is very difficult

Niji 7 also has added backward compatibility, and the ability to use sref (style reference) is especially hot!

This is an example of generating the official character "Saika" with sref, and you can see that it can be drawn in various styles!

It also supports the --sv 4 flag! The development team that responds to maniac requests is the best!

What About Cref? → A Secret Surprise is Coming!

Some people may have thought, "What about cref (character reference)?" but cref is not supported in Niji 7.

Are Simple Pictures More Difficult? The Paradox of AI Art

This was a very interesting story, so I'll introduce it!

According to the official, AI art is "complex pictures are easy, simple pictures are difficult."

The reason is simple: AI has a chance of failing on an element-by-element basis:

Picture with 1000 elements → Even if one fails, 999 succeed → Good picture
Picture with 4 elements → If one fails, the whole thing collapses → Bad picture

Simple pictures require "space," and it's difficult because there are few elements that can hide mistakes!
